Keystatic is completely free and open source. Even Keystatic cloud (auth service) is free for up to 3 users. The only thing you have to pay for is if you want to use the Cloud Images services from Keystatic Cloud, or have more than 3 users on your Keystatic Cloud account.
Agreed. Most concepts will be the same with Astro - only the DocumentRenderer bits are a bit more complicated unless you're willing to use React for everything that the document field should render.
Yep, Dank Mono! Sanity is more mature and feature rich - but Keystatic will work for most of the use case scenarios, and you can skip the database (and pricing plan!). I'd say if you have a lot of complex relationships between content types, which need to be "persisted and robust", then Sanity is a clear winner. Keystatic's relationship field is more of a string reference!
The only way to do this is to make your changes to the `main` branch directly (and have an auto deploy trigger - pretty common on hosting platforms like Vercel or Netlify)
What is your VSCode Theme? And do you have published your Settings somewhere ?
It's Night Owl by Sarah Drasner
Hey simon !! Thank you for your content, I hope there will be more to come. May I know the name of the browser you use?
It's called ARC 🤙
is it paid? Do I need to have a subscription to use Keystatic?

Can keystatic use mdx instead of mdoc ?
Not yet, but it may likely at some point!
I feel such a detailed keystatic implementation with astro js is also needed, i can take this up though .. #keystatic

Loved it. Wonder if it can replace Sanity completely!?
Also, what's the font you're using? Is it Dank Mono?

@@simonswiss Got it.
How can auto redeploy when the contents changed?
The only way to do this is to make your changes to the `main` branch directly (and have an auto deploy trigger - pretty common on hosting platforms like Vercel or Netlify)
